We want to say a big thank you to the panelists and moderators who participated in our Production and Green Symposia during Prelude 09.

The production panel highlighted a variety of options available to artists working in the contemporary performance community. It featured alternative models of funding and presenting work and practical advice from presenting organizations. It was moderated by Hélène Lesterlin from EMPAC.

The Green panel wrestled with ways artists can participate in the “green” movement through sustainable production methods like reuse and recycling, building new performance venues with sustainable materials and/or by creating work that focuses on the subject of climate change. It was moderated by Lisa Phillips from Lenfest Center for Sustainable Energy, The Earth Institute at Columbia University.
