ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

CENTERPIECE conjures unseen memories and baroque desires of a makeshift cinematic tableau, whose figures move into and out from their own fickle facades at a moment's notice. Toiling within an uncanny spectrum of hyper-awareness and disjointed idling, dancers evoke familiar forms while breaking them apart, bumping into each other, feigning indifference, expiring and reanimating, all while quietly vying for their close up.

ABOUT THE ARTST

Liz Westbrook is a dancer, choreographer, actor and movement director from New Hampshire, based in New York City. She creates fantasy dance worlds that reflect and reference human experiences. She attended Bennington College to study movement and dance making but left before receiving a degree.
